This section explores how strategic litigation can be used to advance and protect the rights of older people.

It highlights the importance of combining legal action with campaigning, advocacy and communication.

Participants are encouraged to build strong networks and partnerships, including with lawyers and legal experts.

The training introduces different legal venues at national, European and international level.

It also examines gaps in the current human rights framework concerning age discrimination and ageism.
